1 Getting Started with the Family Plan
What is the Family Plan?
The MediWatchers Family Plan is designed for households that need to manage healthcare for multiple family members. With the Family Plan, you can:
How to Access Family Management
- Log in to your MediWatchers account
- From your Family Dashboard, click the Family Management option in the sidebar menu
- You'll see the Family Management page with two sections: Adults and Dependents
The Family Plan allows up to 2 adult accounts and unlimited dependent profiles, making it perfect for managing your entire household's healthcare needs.
2 Setting Up Dependent Profiles
Who is a Dependent?
Dependents are family members whose healthcare you manage, such as:
- Children
- Elderly parents
- Other family members in your care
- Pets (dogs, cats, etc.)
How to Add a Dependent
- Go to Family Management from your dashboard
- In the Dependents section, click the + Add Dependent button
- Enter the dependent's information:
- Full Name - The dependent's name
- Relationship - Child, Parent, Spouse, Pet, etc.
- Date of Birth (optional)
- Profile Photo (optional)
- Click Save to create the profile
Managing Dependent Profiles
Once a dependent is added, you can:
- Edit - Update their name, photo, or relationship
- View Medications - See all medications assigned to them
- Share Access - Allow another adult to manage their healthcare
- Delete - Remove the profile (with confirmation)
Pet profiles are handled separately from human dependents. When using the "Shared (All Profiles)" feature for medications, pets are automatically excluded since shared medications are intended for human family members only.
